On May 6, 2020, the State Board of Education approved the following action items:

• A request that the Legislative Reference Bureau publish a corrective amendment, pursuant to 45 Pa.C.S. § 901, to ensure that the standards for the School District Organization, which were deposited with the Legislative Reference Bureau on August 17, 1970, and then published in the Pennsylvania Bulletin, be published in the appropriate title of the Pennsylvania Code.

• Approved a motion that the Hearing on the Matter of the Erie County Community College Plan, which had been scheduled for March 18, 2020, be rescheduled to occur over the course of two days through a virtual, online format such as Zoom or WebEx, in June 2020, or the first possible time the necessary virtual format is available to the Board, and that all existing procedural orders of the Board relating to such hearing remain in effect.
