Petition to Withdraw as a Member of the Local Sponsor of a Community College 

Springfield School District

On July 26, 2023, the State Board of Education received a petition from the Springfield School District seeking to withdraw as a member of the local sponsor of Delaware County Community College. 

The Board provided an opportunity for members of the public to submit petitions to intervene, notice of intervention or protests, and requests for a pub​lic hearing in this matter.  A petition to intervene and request for a public hearing was filed by the Delaware County Community College and, upon consideration of the petition, was approved by the Board. 

A public hearing on this matter will be held on June 24, 2024.  The hearing will commence at 9:30 a.m. at the Keystone Building, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120 in the Atrium Level of the building.
